Hotel Mayaguez Plaza, BW Signature Collection, Mayaguez

The hotel's location in the center of Mayagüez is fantastic, next to the town plaza and near the Cathedral. The rooms may have a spooky vibe like they've been untouched for years, but the service is excellent, with attentive staff ready to accommodate special requests. The dining options could use some improvement, offering a basic selection for breakfast. Overall, the hotel has potential but would benefit from a renovation to enhance the experience.

The hotel had some issues with cleanliness as I had to request new towels and the room looked like it came out of a horror movie. On the bright side, one of the employees did try to assist me. The lack of working electrical outlets was frustrating, making it hard to use the hair dryer and coffee machine. Despite the morning light being too strong, the employee's effort softened the blow.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms weren't as clean as I expected, and I had to call the front desk for new towels. However, one of the employees did try to assist me as much as possible. Unfortunately, the room wasn't completely up to date, with no hot water and mosquitos inside. The sound deadening wasn't good either, and there was dust and a damp odor present.
